Travelling & Free time in the USA - wspomnienia Eweliny 2013

Hi! For me and my friends it is almost over work and travel program. After 3 months work in Hershey in Pennsylvania we finally start traveling. We decided that this year we would like to go to west coast. Last summer when I was in the same program I saw a lot of amazing places close to Pennsylvania like Washington, New York, Niagara Falls, Boston, Atlantic City, Ocean City.

This summer we organized a bigger trip. We booked flight to Las Vegas and there we rented a car. I was there with group of 6 friends. First two days we spent in Las Vegas. It was a great fun for us because it is unusual place. I have never seen before place like this. After two days in Vegas we went to Grand Canyon. It was my dream to go there. Nearly five million people travel to see Grand Canyon each year. For me it is magnificent and inarguably beautiful place that you have to visit if you are in west coast. 

After Grand Canyon we went in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Hollywood. This place were very interesting for us because we could see all places that we knew from TV. For example we visited Greystone Mansion. In recent years, a lot of movies filmed here, such as "X-Men: First Class," "The Social Network", "Spider Man".  At the end of our trip we stayed in San Diego. It is a beautiful place with amazing beaches and great ocean where we could relax.

I think that Work and Travel program it is the best chance and great experience for students. They can earn enough money to see wonderful places and discover new cultures. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone because it was an unforgettable experience for me.
