Dear Students

Time for the memories of Ocean City season vol.3

What is so tantalizing about this place that so many students go there every summer and so many of them go back the following seasons?

Perhaps you should try yourself - I can only describe it in pieces and put the pictures up on a display, but what it really is about you can only experience by going there.

Ocean City is located in Maryland, east coast of the USA. It goes along the ocean, that explains the name and from the plane view it looks like a long semi-island surrounded with the ocean on both sides – the ocean side and the bayside. Beautiful, golden, sandy beach is the attribute of the city. Along the beach goes the Boardwalk where all the fun part for the visitors is. On the Bayside there are plenty of harbors, therefore many ships occur during the season, especially when the White Marlin Tournament comes as well as Tuna Tournament – quite a spectacular events.

Numerous amusement parks and night clubs fill free time. Most of them are located on the boardwalk, so within walking distance you can see and do many many things.

There is also an Island couple of miles away from the city where you can actually get to on the bicycle. Quiet beach, wild horses, bike routes around the island and the wharfs on which you can catch crabs make a perfect day off, far away from the chaos and noise cumulated over the week.

The whole process of making the final effect that you can possibly amuse takes about 20 minutes in regular conditions – it all depends on how many people get in the picture, if it includes kids, who are hilarious to work with but some don’t like to be in the picture – then it takes longer than usual.

The whole crew of Flashback is divided into sections, which pulled together make this whole thing happen – starting in the lobby where you can meet a handsome gangster from 1920’ or luscious saloon girl, or an old time baseball player holding a bat and glove in his hands and ending also in the lobby but by the counter where you pick frames for your portrait.

Whomever you meet in the lobby you will be warmly greeted and invited to our ‘fairy tale’ world – this is where you have a chance to travel back in time, not only as a tourist but also as a crew member. Why Not USA gives you the opportunity of a job placement in one of the three studios in Ocean City. If your English is fluent, if you love working with people and if photography is what interests you a lot, that’s a perfect place for you to spend summer at. Great people, great working conditions, flexible schedule allow you to work and travel while being on the boards.
